Shared News Readings

Our Shared News Reading sessions changed somewhat when Mrs Davies discovered ‘Newsela’. Newsela selects a variety of current events and generates a news article about that event. A quiz is also created for the article for students to complete after reading the article. Have a look at the article we are studying this week:

i like shared news reading because you learn all different things and they are from the news. One of my favourite subjects was the giant hornet.
